Welcome to Clean Water Project

OUR MISSION

A team of dreamers making a better reality.

Our journey began in our trailer; twenty-four feet (7.3 m) of lifelong memories. Between almost being caught on fire – twice, withstanding the humid Georgia summers, the frigid cold nights in winter, and many trips across the county; our trailer was both our laboratory and our love.

At our non-profit, we pride ourselves on being anything but ordinary. While we may not have access to unlimited resources or a cutting edge laboratory staffed with highly accomplished individuals, we have something even more valuable: a dedicated team of everyday individuals with extraordinary aspirations.

Our Journey So Far

2017
INITIAL PROJECT PROPOSED
The two founders, John and David, brainstormed energy-efficient solutions for traditional methods that have become outdated to support populations worldwide and answer the call that billions of people demand: a sustainable solution.
2018
GROUNDBREAKING DISCOVERY
Initial tests of design concepts proved that with their design, John and Dave could purify water fifty times more efficiently than simply boiling water. This means not only time but resources can be saved while providing people with an eco-friendly alternative process.
2019
FIRST PRODUCTION SYSTEM
The first device built was large enough to fulfill the needs of over 3,000 people per day, according to the World Health Organization standards. This was a monumental accomplishment as it proved that a system could be developed not only for drinking water but for sanitation needs.
2020
REDEFINING THE GOALS
The global pandemic showed us that if our company needs to be adaptable, so too does our device. Thus, we moved to rapid prototyping, Matt – John's youngest son, joined the team to design custom components to compact the design that had been made to suit households or small industries.
2021
CLEAN WATER PROJECT IS FOUNDED
Clean Water Foundation becomes a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and earn its patent on their revolutionary water purification device, the DrinkPure.
2023
IN COUNTRY SYSTEMS BEGIN
Our first system will be sent to Pucallpa, Peru, where dozens of clinicians and thousands of patients will benefit from our technology; additionally, multiple systems will be sent to Zambia to promote local safety measures for clean water.

"You're the first company I've heard of who wants to give away products that would otherwise fly off shelves."
Call us crazy!
"What about disaster relief?"
You name it, we can do it! Our technology kills living pathogens in water more efficientially than the industry standard. Alongside additional devices, the sky is the limit.
"Why not just donate bottled water?"
Giving plastic bottles to pollute the region is no solution, it is a bandaide. We bring a system that can last a lifetime with proper maintainance.

Become an Outreach Coordinator today!
None of our efforts would be possible without the help of our talented Outreach Coordinators who serve as liaisons to regions in need. Outreach Coordinators work with Clean Water Project to help bring our technology to areas that need a supported water infrastructure. By helping us educate local communities and assist with travel arrangements, Outreach Coordinators are the backbone of Clean Water Project.
